Because of its unique molecular structure and very small partial size, the material simply slips on itself. Due to its ability to stay only .5 microns thin on a surface, we urge you to get our Wheel and Axle Polishing Kit to pre the surface since the Tungsten Disulfide will retain the surface features of the screw and wheel, no matter how minute.
